The goal is to build a free-standing framework which will support weight one metre above the ground. The framework which can support the most weight is the winner.

materials:

straws, pins, tape, papaer clips, elastic bands, sciccors, metre ruler, set of object of varying weight.

Doing it.:

1. the framework is built using straws. Straws can be joined together in many different ways. You can make a long straw by squeezing one endof a straw and placing it in another. You can pins or tape to hold straws together. You can bind straws where they intersect with elastic bands.Straws can also be put together with paper clips.

which structures can support the lowest weight object one metre above ground?

which structures can hold the most weight?

keep adding weight untill all but one structures copllapse..

submarine dan the magic of ooblek

migty sains bermula dari 1-3 nov 2010. Ini adalah antara aktiviti yang kami jalankan. Submarine ...menggunakan konsep density.
Menggunakan penutup pen kilometriko yang diletakkan dengan sedikit plastisin dibahagian bawah hujungnya. Botol diisi dengan air yang yang penuh. Apabila botol ditekan, penutup yang bertindak sebagai submarine akan ke bawah.( tenggelam).


bila dilepaskan , penutup botol bergerak ke atas. (timbul).

ini wakil kumpulan pertama yang berjaya melakukan akyiviti ini. Tahniah.

Ini aktiviti ooblek. Bahan-bahan diperlukan :

2 cawan tepung jagung

1 cawan air (letak sikit2...tak perlu dihabiskan)

pewarna

cara:

campurkan semua bahan.

gaul sehingga sebati.

hasilnya.....

nampak seolah2 cecair, tetapi masih pepejal....
